Our Full Immersion approach, which has been used for 15 years, has been enriched with the Beyond Language programme, an innovative teaching method which permits accelerated learning.


Where?
Our Full Immersion courses are held in country houses (between Todi and Perugia), immersed in the beauty of the green Umbrian countryside, where the pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, and the constant availability of a mother tongue teacher favours fluent communication and concentration suitable for study.



Everyone has their own way of learning. Based on this, the Language Centre has created a method of teaching which draws on the resources of each individual, allowing their intellectual and emotional development and the liberation of their expressive capacity in order to overcome mental blocks.

Nowadays it is commonplace to come across English in both conversation and in written form and often what we learned at school is not enough to make us feel involved. We stand back, not believing that we have the capacity to express ourselves correctly, with the conviction that we don’t have an ear for language, or not being disposed to languages.
Sometimes, age, or difficulty with the pronunciation of sounds to which we are not accustomed, obstruct our willingness to learn a new language. With a programme based on the development to listen and relate to the capacity of others, the Language Centre has produced a learning programme that frees us from these negative and limiting convictions and brings about the release of the creative potential present in everyone of us. In this way it is much easier to reach our objective, which in this case, is the ability to express ourselves in a foreign language, always feeling at our ease.

Course structure
The learning path of the Language Centre is based on the innovative techniques of the neurolinguistic programme (NLP), far removed from “traditional schools methods”:
- authentic audio-visual material, in order to immerse oneself in actual daily situations.
- roleplay, created and played out by the students
- expressive vocal and body language techniques
- creative visualisation
- total immersion in a dynamic interactive context
together allow a more enjoyable and faster learning process (about 30% more compared to a traditional course), with surprising and unexpected results.

Starting with the acceptance of oneself, we face our fears, our resistances and hidden obstacles that arise in us when learning another language. Following this we look for the stereotypes that influence human relationships with others, coming in contact with different customs and uses, with a different way of thinking, with expressions, perception and different realities, often apparently irreconcilable with our own.
After having recognised the negative past experiences we can transform them, our thoughts then become creative and our awareness of the possibilities of linguistic expression and general communication is developed via specific techniques.
In this way the learning of a foreign language opens up new awareness to a world rich in experiences and of prospects that become the stimulus for our individual growth.
The whole process can be summarised with these benefits; better self awareness, ability to calmly accept and manage external feedback, a better capacity for interaction with others, a firmer control of our negative emotions and a consequential improvement in our behaviour.

Weekly and weekend courses, all year, for individuals or small groups, from breakfast to dinner with the teacher, from 17_ to 65 hours in a week. All the options are all inclusive with the exception of extra drinks at meal times.

Costs and conditions
The costs relating to the Beyond Language programme are listed in the annual price list. Payment is in advance. Payment can also be made in easy monthly instalments.
Our cancellation policy allows a reimbursement of 70% of the course cost if cancelled within 30 to 16 days prior to course commencement, 50% if cancellation is received within 15 to 8 days prior to course commencement. No refund will be given if cancellation occurs within the 7 day period prior to course commencement. Refunds will be made net of bank charges.
