By applying an essentially communicative method based on a functionality approach, TLC conforms with the Council of Europe Modern Language Training Methods, establishing the principle of student centrality and his need to acquire function-based language skills. In this method, it is essential that the teacher propose frequent simulation and realistic contextualization to the student.

Length of Training Options
The training planned in the ComExLoc program takes place entirely within a maximum five-month period. The company has the flexibility to coordinate its own course schedule but it is advised not to exceed the five-month suggested period. Every lesson lasts a minimum of two hours and we recommend having no fewer than four hours per week. For maximum learning effectiveness, it is also strongly recommended to hold an additional four hours of intensive lessons to more thoroughly explore specific topics at least one Saturday per month. Student course materials are provided by TLC.
TLC provides preliminary test material, teachers, a personalized TLC folder with pen and notepad, textbook, photocopies, TULPA test material and certificate, feedback survey form and a final course report. An analysis of actual company documents necessary for effective communication within the company is also included. The company and its individual participants will receive a Final Course Report indicating the TULPA level achieved, details on work done during the course, an analysis on language aspects needing further improvement and a recommended plan of action to be undertaken upon completion of the course.
Fees and conditions for the current year can be found on the Extensive Company Courses pricelist. Unless otherwise agreed upon, payment is to be made mid-way through the course, upon receipt of invoice. Invoicing details for the course must be sent to manuela.locatelli@wellanguage.com before the course begins.
In addition, each student must submit the following items to sabra.deluca@wellanguage.com within 15 days of the beginning of the course:
At the beginning of the course, each participant will undergo an initial TULPA assessment, an exclusive TLC system allowing for a detailed, objective analysis of the student’s true weak points. From here, it will be possible to develop and organize an extensive program for the group. Student progress will be continuously evaluated throughout the course and communicated to TLC by the teacher. Every four weeks, a test will be given to each student to determine his progress. At this time, the student will also be asked to fill out a feedback form to verify and guarantee the quality of training as well as the effectiveness of the course. At the end of the course, TLC will issue a TULPA Linguistic Certificate to each student with his final score. Each student will then be able to compare this score to other international evaluation systems for each specific language with the aid of a comparison table provided by TLC. In addition to state accreditation already acquired, as of September 2006, our company has been Quality System Certified (UNI EN ISO 9001:2008). Being able to conform to globally recognized regulation is a mark of a very advanced organizational structure and process definition; strict standards for which few schools are recognized. The Language Center srl is the only language school in Umbria to have a certified quality system.
